Originally created in 1995, this engaging film about the Findhorn Community still remains relevant today. It is a wonderful introduction if you want to know more about this unique place, its values, how it operates and what inspires those who come here.
This 31 minute film shows just how three deeply committed people, by being willing to say yes to Spirit, were able to run a run-down caravan park into a magical garden, holistic education centre, ecovillage and a place of deep eace and transformation.
The Findhorn Foundation and community aims to inspire and encourage transformation in human consciousness, to help create a positive future for humanity and our planet. We are an education centre, community and ecovillage, offering experiential education and an holistic leadership curriculum, based on practices which recognise the interconnectedness of all life. Our community life and educational programmes stimulate a more inclusive awareness, leading to holistic and sustainable choices for individuals, and for humanity as a whole.
The main areas of our activity are: Education through spiritual practice, experiential learning, courses, workshops, and conferences; Community, practising holistic values, conscious relationships, holistic leadership and decision-making; Ecovillage, working in partnership with nature, with sustainable values, using ecological building techniques and alternative energy systems; and Outreach via United Nations affiliations, consultancy work, outreach education, and our global network of friends.
