After »Sennen-Ballade« and »Bauernkrieg«,  »Sheperds´Journey into the third millenium«  is the third film in a trilogy of Erich Langjahr. In these films, he deals with the most elementary questions of human existance. In the center there are questions about identiy, survival and future.

A sheperd´s life is one of the oldest forms of civilization of human existence. I wanted to get to know the life of today´s sheperds on the threshold of the 3rd millenium.
